Welcome to the world as I see it.
It is my ultimate goal in this life of mine to see the beauty in life's ordinary things, for everything in life is beautiful, if you take the time to really see it.To me, nothing in this world is ugly or ordinary; in fact even the most decrepit objects, be it a rusty piece of machinery, a fallen down barn, deserted house or weathered clothespin can become so magnificent and extraordinary, if viewed through my eyes.
That's where my camera comes in.
At first, I started using a camera to capture images for the sole purpose of painting or drawing, for I am an artist. Then, the more I used my camera, the more my passion grew. Before I knew it, I was seeing the world a different way. Everywhere I looked I began noticing long since forgotten objects, things that people would not take the time to second glance at. Seen through the lens of the camera, they were gorgeous.
Now I have two passions: Art and Photography . I sell my original art work and photography and take commissions for both.
Sit down, grab your tea or coffee and visit with me for a while. Enjoy. :)
An Update : After 8 years of juggling work, family and university, I am now a graduate of Nipissing University! (yay me !!!!) Much to my delight and surprise, I was the recipient of the J. W. Trusler Proficiency Award at graduation!!! I received that for achieving the highest marks In the four year Bachelor of Fine Arts Program... to qualify first your entire University marks must be a minimal of 80% average,Then ALL fine art courses are averaged out, studio applied, art histories, etc. and the student with the highest grade over all wins... I graduated with a double major.. Fine Arts and Psychology.
What's next ? I will be studying Post Grad of course !!! To become an Art Therapist is my ultimate goal.
